Form Lake Coldai through the Civetta Valley on one of the most spectacular routes in the Dolomites. If you look up to the rocky summit above Alleghe, you will spot a flagpole with the Italian flag and a summit cross: this is Col Reàn, situated near the Attilio Tissi Refuge at the foot of Civetta. The Tissi Refuge stands below the majestic and awe-inspiring northwest face – also referred to as the “Kingdom of the sixth grade” – and is popular with walkers who stop there for refreshments or even stay the night on their climbing expeditions.
