Alleghe is the gateway to the beautiful Alpine landscapes of the Dolomites – a World Heritage Site.
It offers legendary peaks, modern lifts and a wide variety of facilities, events and activities for kids, youngsters and sports enthusiasts. As well as first-class hospitality and a warm, genuine welcome. Alleghe has something for everyone and its carefully preserved, protected natural environment is a constant source of emotion. A world of emotions that only “real” mountains can give, all year round.
The ski resort of Alleghe organises a packed calendar of varied and cool events every year alongside the regular Baby Central Park and Alleghe Boardercross facilities. Everyone is awaiting the recently opened winter season with bated breath because of the many events and activities it has in store.
If you are a skier, your bucket list must include Gran Zuita, the 7-kilometre downhill run that covers the whole of the Civetta ski area, starting at its highest point (Col Fioret – 2068 m) and ending at its lowest (Alleghe – 1000 m). Thanks to “Alleghe UP”, Alleghe Funivie’s dedicated app, you can record your performance, share it with your friends and watch how the challenge progresses later from the comfort of your home.
This winter the cable car from Alleghe to Piani di Pezzè will be open again on Thursday and Saturday evenings from 27 December until 9 March. As part of the busy schedule of evening events called Alleghe Nights, visitors can go on a magical nighttime walk with snowshoes, ending up at the Grande Baita Civetta refuge for a typical meal.
To make your holiday in Alleghe even more memorable, there are a number of initiatives and services for kids: Ally Farm, the park for the whole family at Piani di Pezzè which also offers a babysitting service, Baby Central Park, the snow park for kids of all ages on the Mariaz slope, and the wide variety of courses and activities organised by the Alleghe-Civetta and Coldai ski schools.
